Jamba Juice chain relocating its HQ from California to North Texas

Retailer Jamba Inc. has confirmed that it is moving its juice chain's headquarters from California's San Francisco Bay area to a new location in North Texas.

Jamba Juice's parent company has leased 25,000 square feet of office space at the Dallas North Tollway and Gaylord Parkway for relocating the headquarters.

David A. Pace, chief executive of Jamba, said in a statement that the company decided to relocate to North Texas after exploring options that would offer competitive operating costs, access to skilled restaurant talent, lower cost of living to the company's current and future team members.

Revealing the relocation decision, Pace added, "We explored a number of location options . The State of Texas meets all of these criteria and Frisco is a community committed to healthy living that aligns closely with our overall mission."

Pace further added that the new location would facilitate their ability to expand store base. The company's current lease in Emeryville is slated to expire at the end of this year.

The deal to relocate Jamba Juice's headquarters to North Texas includes grants from both the Texas Enterprise Fund and the City of Frisco. The new Frisco office will have a workforce of nearly 100 people.
